EL PASO, Texas – El Paso Locomotive FC announced on Monday it had signed goalkeeper Sebastian Mora ahead of the 2025 USL Championship season. The signing is pending league and federation approval, and the terms of the deal will not be disclosed per club policy.
Mora-Mora arrives in El Paso after two years in Mexico’s Liga de Expansión MX. Over that span he made 23 appearances and recorded six shutouts while competing for Club Celaya (2024) and Tepatitlán F.C. (2023).
“Sebastian is a great addition to our team,” said Locomotive Technical Director Ray Saari. “With him, we’re adding a talented player with a strong personality and mentality who will be essential for our group this year.”
A native of San Diego, Calif., Mora previously played in USL League One for Chattanooga Red Wolves SC, making nine appearances for the side in the 2021 season. The 26-year-old recorded 17 saves and notched one shutout for the Red Wolves while posting a 1.22 goals-against average.
