INDIANAPOLIS – Indy Eleven announced on Tuesday it had signed forward Elvis Amoh ahead of the 2025 USL Championship season. The transaction is pending league and federation approval and per club policy, terms of the deal will not be disclosed.
A native of Kumasi, Ghana, Amoh joins the Boys in Blue from Detroit City FC, where he recorded three goals and three assists in 26 appearances during the regular season and playoffs. Amoh’s stint in Detroit continued a well-traveled career in the Championship that has also seen him play for Hartford Athletic, Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC, Rio Grande Valley FC, and Loudoun United FC.
During that span, Amoh has recorded 42 goals and eight assists in 134 appearances across the regular season and playoffs, including notching consecutive seasons with double-digit goals with the Toros in 2021 and the Switchbacks in 2022 with 13 goals in each campaign.
Before his time in the Championship, Amoh began his professional career in the Ghanaian Premier League with Asante Kotoko SC in 2015, and he came back to the club in 2017 following a stint with the West African Football Academy. He then joined Capital City FC of the Canadian Soccer League later in 2017. He also enjoyed a stint in the Czech National Football League for SK Lisen in 2019.
