LEXINGTON, Ky. – Lexington SC announced on Monday it had signed 2024 USL League One Young Player of the Year Alfredo Midence ahead of the 2025 USL Championship season. The transaction is pending league and federation approval.
Midence joins Lexington having starred for Central Valley Fuego FC during the past League One season. The 22-year-old recorded eight assists in 15 regular season appearances to earn the league’s Golden Playmaker award in his first season in the professional ranks while also notching two goals and 39 chances created in 1,064 minutes of action.

In addition to his two individual awards, the native of Honduras was voted to the 2024 USL League One All-League Second Team. Midence also recorded two goals, one assist and 12 chances created across 352 minutes of action in the 2024 USL Jägermeister Cup while also completing 52 dribbles at a greater than 50 percent success rate.
