LEXINGTON, Ky. – Lexington Sporting Club announced on Wednesday the club had signed goalkeeper Logan Ketterer ahead of the 2025 USL Championship season. The transaction is pending league and federation approval.
Ketterer joins Lexington having spent the past three seasons with Club de Foot Montreal of Major League Soccer, where he served as a back-up throughout his tenure. The 31-year-old brings extensive experience from the USL Championship, having made 82 appearances for El Paso Locomotive FC across three seasons for the club.
“Every conversation I’ve had with the club has shown me their commitment to success,” said Ketterer. “You either succeed or fail, and anything less than lifting a trophy is a failure. Success requires effort, investment, and a strong connection to the community. Seeing the club’s commitment to the academy and women’s team reinforces that they want to do things the right way.”
Ketterer helped Locomotive reach the USL Championship Playoffs in each of its first three seasons and recorded 189 saves for the side at a save percentage of 68.3 percent. Ketterer also posted a 1.06 goals-against average and 30 shutouts for the side.
“Logan is a proven goalkeeper with the talent and mentality to anchor our defense,” said Lexington Head Coach Terry Boss. “His professionalism and experience at this level make him a natural fit for what we’re building at Lexington SC.”
