This past week in the USL Championship featured some outstanding pieces of individual skill and pinpoint finishing that lit up the scoreboard and the highlight reel across the league as the race to the postseason continued. Laurent Kissiedou (DET) - #CHSvDET, 10/5/24: The Ivory Coast playmaker produced a brilliant strike for his first goal since joining Le Rouge, picking out the bottom-right corner of the net from 25 yards for a stoppage-time equalizer at Patriots Point.
Augustine Williams (IND) - #INDvLOU, 10/5/24: The Sierra Leone international continued his recent run of goals with an outstanding turn to create space away his defender before he fired home low into the left corner from just inside the penalty area to level against LouCity just before halftime.
Bertin Jacquesson (PIT) - #MIAvPIT, 10/5/24: The French forward caught Miami’s goalkeeper cheating off his line and fired home an incredible strike from an acute angle on the right side that picked out the net for his second goal in the Hounds’ first hat trick of the season.
Oalex Anderson (NC) - #BHMvNC, 10/6/24: The St. Vincent and the Grenadines marksman controlled a cross from the right by Rafa Mentzingen superbly with his chest, setting up a half-volley finish with his right foot that ripped into the back of the net from 10 yards out.
