INDIANAPOLIS – Indy Eleven announced on Thursday it had signed defender Hayden White, who joins the Boys in Blue with more than a decade of professional experience in England. White will be available for selection in Indy’s contest this Saturday against Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC. Per club policy, terms of the deal will not be disclosed.
White joins the Boys in Blue having most recently logged more than 1,400 minutes of action in 19 matches with National League-side Ebbsfleet United during the 2023-24 season.
Before arriving at Ebbsfleet, he played seven seasons in EFL League Two including a stint at Walsall where he played in 106 matches and logged more than 8,800 minutes while recording two goals and five assists. Prior to that, White suited up for 75 matches and played more than 6,000 minutes for Mansfield Town where he registered two goals and six assists.
The 29-year-old also spent five seasons between League One and League Two from 2014-2017, playing for League One sides Notts County, Blackpool and Peterborough United and League Two’s Carlisle United and Bury. He spent the first two seasons of his professional career with the Bolton Wanderers where he saw action in England’s Championship League as well as Premier League 2 with the U23 squad.
White has also played in 30 matches across the F.A. Cup and Carabao Cup, totaling more than 2,500 minutes.
