USL Championship Save of the Week – Week 22

Jahmali Waite (ELP) - #MEMvELP, 8/3/24: The Jamaican international earned another nomination for an outstanding kick-save on a one-on-one opportunity for Memphis 901 FC’s Luiz Fernando, part of a five-save shutout at AutoZone Park.

Christian Herrera (COS) - #COSvPHX, 8/3/24: Herrera made a key early save against Phoenix Rising FC, smothering the low effort by Juan Carlos Azocar after the Venezuelan had been played in behind the Switchbacks’ back line to keep the game scoreless.

Alex Tambakis (NM) - #NMvLOU, 8/3/24: The Championship’s all-time leader in saves made a brilliant reflex stop to keep out a redirection at the top of the six-yard area by Louisville City FC’s Elijah Wynder at Isotopes Park.

Eric Dick (PIT) - #SACvPIT, 8/3/24: Dick made a brilliant double-save to keep out Sacramento Republic FC’s Kieran Phillips and Jack Gurr midway through the second half at Heart Health Park, the highlight moment of his eight-save shutout in the Hounds’ 1-0 victory.
