USL Championship Save of the Week – Week 12

Gabriel Perrotta (PIT) - #MEMvPIT, 5/25/24: The Paraguayan shot-stopper went at full stretch to make a one-handed save to deny a strike by Memphis’ Zach Duncan to the top-right corner at AutoZone Park.

Kendall McIntosh (SA) - #NMvSA, 5/25/24: The veteran made a spectacular late save to deny New Mexico’s Jacobo Reyes, reaching full extension to parry away a shot to the top-right corner at Isotopes Park.

Matt VanOekel (BHM) - #SACvBHM, 5/25/24: The veteran only had to make one save to post a shutout, but VanOekel’s reflex denial of a back-post header by Sacramento’s Luis Felipe Fernandes was top class.

Danny Vitiello (SAC) - #SACvBHM, 5/25/24: The 2023 Championship Goalkeeper of the Year preserved a shutout and a point for Republic FC as he clawed back a close-range chance for Birmingham’s Jake Rufe on the goal line.
