USL Championship Goal of the Week – Week 12

The past weekend of action in the USL Championship produced another collection of spectacular moments, including a rarely seen Olimpico and several spectacular game-changing finishes around the league. Here are our picks for four of the top finishes, now it’s up to you to pick the winner of the USL Championship Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week presented by Select.

USL Championship Goal of the Week – Week 12

Amando Moreno (ELP) - #CHSvELP, 5/24/24: The El Salvador international produced a brilliant angled finish to the bottom-right corner of the net to give El Paso victory and hand Charleston its first loss of the season.

Mikey Maldonado (NC) - #MIAvNC, 5/25/24: The 25-year-old curled home an Olimpico from a corner kick on the left that picked out the right side-netting as part of North Carolina’s second-half surge to victory against Miami FC.

Luke Haakenson (SA) - #NMvSA, 5/25/24: The Minnesota native got on the end of a superb 40-yard delivery by Jamaican international Kevon Lambert to head home into the top-left corner of the net to open the scoring against New Mexico.

Greg Hurst (NM) - #NMvSA, 5/25/24: The Scottish forward powered home a half-volley from 30 yards that arrowed into the left corner of the net that served as the winner in New Mexico’s comeback victory at Isotopes Park.
