CHICAGO – The U.S. Soccer Federation and Apple today announced that the final three rounds of the 2024 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup will be available to stream live for free via on Apple TV, bringing the 109th edition of the nation’s most prestigious soccer competition to its largest global audience to date.
The final seven matches of the tournament will air on the MLS Season Pass service, including the Quarterfinals (July 9-10), Semifinals (Aug. 27-28), and Final (Sept. 25). The agreement will guarantee soccer fans around the world unparalleled access to these pivotal, action-packed matches, with additional coverage available through the MLS Season Pass studio show and the Offside with Taylor Twellman podcast.
Three USL Championship clubs have advanced to the Quarterfinals for the first time in the tournament since 2012, with Indy Eleven, New Mexico United and Sacramento Republic FC still in contention to become the first USL club this century to claim the tournament.
2022 Finalist Republic FC will host four-time winner Seattle Sounders FC at Heart Health Park, while Indy will visit Atlanta United FC and New Mexico will visit Los Angeles FC when the tournament resumes on July 9 and 10.
