EL PASO, Texas – El Paso Locomotive FC announced on Friday it had parted ways with Head Coach and Technical Director Brian Clarhaut effective immediately. Additionally, Assistant Coach Jon Burklo also departed the club.
Locomotive reached the 2023 USL Championship Playoffs during Clarhaut’s first season at the club which was highlighted by a 12-game undefeated streak that included a seven-game winning streak, but the side had won only once in its first 11 games of the 2024 campaign to sit in last place in the Western Conference after a 2-1 defeat against Memphis 901 FC on Friday night at Southwest University Park.
Overall, El Paso posted a 14-22-10 record across the USL Championship regular season and playoffs during Clarhaut’s tenure.
Locomotive is expected to make an announcement regarding its next head coach in the coming days.
