2023 USL Championship title winner Danny Trejo scored his second goal since his move to Polish First Division club Korona Kielce in January, helping the side jump out of the relegation zone with five games to play in the Ekstraklasa season with a 4-0 win against Radomiak Radom on Friday night.

The former Phoenix Rising FC standout and 2023 All-League First Team selection has recorded two goals and two assists in eight league appearances. Korona Kielce will now prepare for a crucial contest in its battle for survival in the top flight on Monday, April 29 against Puszcza Niepolomice. With Korona’s victory, Puszcza Niepolomice was pushed into the relegation zone ahead of its contest in Round 29 on Sunday.
