TULSA, Okla. – FC Tulsa announced on Monday the club had acquired defender Sebastian Sanchez on loan from fellow USL Championship club Louisville City FC for the 2024 season. The transaction is pending league and federation approval, and Louisville retains the right of recall during the duration of the loan.

A graduate of the LouCity Academy, Sanchez made his USL Championship debut on October 1, 2022 against Rio Grande Valley FC. The 20-year-old has previously spent time on loan with USL League One clubs South Georgia Tormenta FC and Union Omaha over the past two seasons.

In addition to his time in the senior ranks, Sanchez was selected to the 2022 USL Academy League Playoffs All-Tournament Team in the showcase division. He is one of six players to have turned professional with LouCity from the club’s academy since its establishment late last decade.
