USL Championship Goal of the Week – Week 5

Pieces of individual brilliance and teamwork shone in the past weekend, which gets your vote?

The first full weekend of action in the USL Championship resulted in 35 goals across three days of action, including another five-goal performance by Eastern Conference leader Louisville City FC and some spectacular finishes around the league. We’ve picked four of the top finishes, now it’s up to you to pick the winner of the USL Championship Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week presented by Select.

USL Championship Goal of the Week – Week 5

Jack Blake (IND) - #LOUvIND, 4/6/24: The English midfielder began and finished his second goal of the day in Louisville, combining with Sebastian Guenzatti for a first-time finish into the bottom-left corner to give Indy a silver lining to its LIPAFC defeat.

Russell Cicerone (SAC) - #COSvSAC, 4/6/24: The veteran forward glided through Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC’s defense and into the penalty area before a sharp low finish to the bottom-left corner for his first goal of the season.

Abdellatif Aboukoura (LDN) - #BHMvLDN, 4/7/24: The 19-year-old produced a moment of individual brilliance to create space for a 25-yard shot that rocketed into the top-right corner of the net against Birmingham Legion FC.

Tyler Pasher (BHM) - #BHMvLDN, 4/7/24: The Canadian forward once again delivered a highlight-reel finish, tracking down a ball over the top before spinning his defender and curling a left-footed shot into the left corner of the net.
