Reflex stops and a penalty denial highlighted last weekend, which one gets your vote?

The reflexes and intuition of the USL Championship’s goalkeepers were on show during Week 3 of the regular season, including some game-changing stops that held sides hold onto results at home and away. We’ve picked out four of the best denials of the past week, now you get to select which one will be the USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week presented by Terminix.

USL Championship Save of the Week – Week 3

Paul Walters (HFD) - #HFDvBHM, 3/23/24: The 19-year-old made an outstanding one-on-one save to deny Birmingham Legion FC’s Tyler Pasher and then punched the ball to safety as part of a three-save shutout at Trinity Health Stadium.

Christian Herrera (COS) - #SAvCOS, 3/23/24: Herrera made the third penalty stop of his career in the USL Championship as he clawed away former United States international Juan Agudelo’s shot to the right corner at Toyota Field.

Javier Garcia (ELP) - #LVvELP, 3/23/24: Making just his third league appearance for Locomotive, Garcia showed off his reflexes to deny a point-blank header by Las Vegas Lights FC’s Khori Bennett at Cashman Field.

Daniel Gagliardi (MIA) - #OCvMIA, 3/23/24: The Miami newcomer produced an outstanding diving stop to keep out a powerful header by Orange County SC’s Thomas Amang and helped preserve a point on the road for his side.
