Former USL Championship standout Jeremy Kelly’s first goal for new club Crawley Town FC was worth the wait.

The attacking midfielder’s crisp strike to the bottom-left corner from the top of the penalty area just two minutes into Saturday afternoon’s clash paved the way to a 3-1 victory for the Red Devils on the road against Tranmere Rovers and sent the side into the promotion playoff positions in EFL League Two.

Kelly joined Crawley on the final day of January’s transfer window from FC Tulsa and has made 10 appearances – including seven starts – since his move to England. Now with eight games to go in the campaign, the 26-year-old could play an important role as his side fights for position in a tight race to stay in the top seven.
