Precision strikes, a perfect free kick, and a brilliant piece of teamwork, which gets your vote?

The third weekend of the USL Championship campaign saw some of the potential contenders for the Golden Boot find the net, including a brace for 2023 winner Albert Dikwa to make history for Rhode Island, and gave us another selection of highlight-reel finishes. We’ve picked four of the best, now it’s up to you to pick the winner of the USL Championship Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week presented by Select.

USL Championship Goal of the Week – Week 3

Abdoulaye Diop (DET) - #DETvLDN, 3/23/24: The Senegalese midfielder sparked Le Rouge’s comeback victory with a brilliant long-range strike that picked out the left corner in DCFC’s home opener at Keyworth Stadium.

Aaron Molloy (CHS) - #CHSvNM, 3/23/24: The two-time Championship All-League selection scored his first goal for the Battery in characteristic style with a precise free kick to the top-left corner of the net at Patriots Point.

Allen Gavilanes (MIA) - #OCvMIA, 3/23/24: Gavilanes started off a brace with an impressive individual finish, tucking home a low shot at the near post from the right side of the penalty area against Orange County SC.

Panos Armenakas (PHX) - #PHXvOAK, 3/23/24: The defending title holders broke their scoreless streak in brilliant fashion as a tic-tac-toe move sprung Juan Carlos Azocar into the penalty area to deliver a cross for Armenakas to finish.
