TULSA, Okla. – FC Tulsa announced on Wednesday the club had signed midfielder Harvey St Clair ahead of the 2024 USL Championship season. The transaction is pending league and federation approval.

St Clair joins Tulsa having spent the past five years with Italian club Venezia F.C., where he joined the professional ranks in 2018 after coming through the academy system of Premier League club Chelsea FC. The 25-year-old made 25 appearances for the Serie B club, while also spending time on loan with Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premiership and Italian sides Seregno, Triestina and Vis Pesaro.

“We are excited to welcome Harvey to Tulsa,” said Tulsa Head Coach Mario Sanchez. “Harvey brings a tremendous amount of international experience to the club. As a former Chelsea Academy player and Scottish youth international player, Harvey has spent the last few years in Italy gaining valuable playing time.

“His tremendous work ethic on both sides of the ball and his attacking ability are qualities that we look for in players. Most importantly, Harvey has a winning mentality and he wants to be part of a winning culture.”

During his time at the Chelsea Academy, St Clair notched seven goals for Chelsea’s U18s along with three in the FA Youth Cup. While part of Chelsea’s U-18s, he was part of the squad that won the Premier League U-18 title during the 2016-2017 season. St Clair also earned three caps for Scotland’s U-21 Men’s National Team.
