As 2023 comes to a close, we’re going to take a look back at 10 of the best games of the campaign.

At the end of the 2022 season, no-one might have envisioned that the Charleston Battery and Phoenix Rising FC – both on the outside of the playoff picture – would be squaring off for a league title 12 months later. After remarkable regular season and postseason runs, however, the sides played out an enthralling contest that became the first USL Championship Final to be decided by a penalty shootout in more than a decade.
