As 2023 comes to a close, we’re going to take a look back at 10 of the best games of the campaign.

Anticipation was high as San Diego Loyal SC and Phoenix Rising FC prepared to wrap up the opened weekend of the 2023 USL Championship Playoffs at Torero Stadium. The Western Conference Quarterfinal between the sides delivered, and then some. A brilliant back-and-forth contest featured both sides holding the lead, a dramatic penalty kick in second-half stoppage time, and a remarkable late winner that capped a postseason classic.
