INDIANAPOLIS – Indy Eleven announced on Tuesday the departure of Head Coach Mark Lowry after two seasons at the club. The English manager had led the Boys in Blue back to their first appearance in the USL Championship Playoffs this past campaign before being eliminated in the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals by eventual USL Championship Finalists the Charleston Battery.

Lowry joined Indy having previously led El Paso Locomotive FC for three seasons. In 2021 he was nominated for the Championship’s Coach of the Year award after leading El Paso to a third consecutive postseason appearance as the side topped the Mountain Division of the Western Conference.

With Indy, Lowry sought to overhaul the roster, and saw the side achieve momentum during the second half of the 2023 season as veterans including Sebastian Guenzatti, Aodhan Quinn and Jack Blake helped the side earn a sixth-place finish in the Eastern Conference.

Lowry posted an overall record of 25-28-15 record with Indy in the regular season.
