Outstanding denials, including those which helped earn postseason berths, who gets your vote?

The final week of the USL Championship’s regular season produced some game-changing moments and outstanding saves from goalkeepers across the league as the final playoff positions were set. We’ve made four selections as nominees for the USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week, now it’s up to you to vote for the winner here on the web, on the league social media feeds, and in the USL App.

Voting runs through Friday, October 20 at 12 p.m. ET.

USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 32

Nathan Steinwascher (DET) - #DETvPIT, 10/14/23: The local standout produced a crucial save to keep out a volleyed finish by Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC’s Danny Griffin early in the second half to help Le Rouge claim a point and earn a playoff berth.

Tim Trilk (IND) - #SAvIND, 10/14/23: Trilk made an outstanding one-on-one save on a shot from 12 yards to the right corner that denied San Antonio FC’s Tani Oluwaseyi after he had eluded a pair of defenders in the penalty area at Toyota Field.

Benny Díaz (ELP) - #OAKvELP, 10/14/23: Facing his former club, Díaz made a crucial penalty kick save late in the first half against Oakland Roots SC’s Johnny Rodriguez to help Locomotive FC take victory and a place in the postseason at Pioneer Stadium.

Andre Zuluaga (LV) - #LVvSD, 10/14/23: Zuluaga parried an powerful initial shot by San Diego Loyal SC’s Camden Riley and then recovered quickly to smother the rebound by Evan Conway in Lights FC’s final game of the campaign.
