Twenty-six players from across the USL Championship, League One and the past League Two season will be in action this week at the international level, with players set to compete in the Concacaf Nations League, UEFA Euro 2024 Qualifying, and international exhibitions.

Leading the way are a quartet of players who will try to help Trinidad and Tobago continue its path to the knockout stage of Concacaf League A, with Oakland Roots SC’s Neveal Hackshaw, Miami FC’s Ryan Telfer, Central Valley Fuego FC’s Jesse Williams and Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC’s Noah Powder all included in the squad for the Soca Warriors. Currently sitting first in Group 1, the side will host Guatemala on Friday night before visiting Curacao next Tuesday aiming to seal a top-two finish and place in the tournament’s knockout stage.

Jamaica and Cuba are also in contention to advance from Concacaf League A, Group 2, sitting tied on four points ahead of the second round of games, with Jamaica set to face Grenada on Thursday night and Haiti on Sunday night looking to book their advancement. The Reggae Boyz have selected Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC goalkeeper Jahmali Waite and Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC forward Romario Williams, both of whom have played key roles in their side’s advancement to the USL Championship Playoffs this season.

Cuba, meanwhile, will look for another big week from Tampa Bay Rowdies goalkeeper Raiko Arozarena, who was voted to the League A Best XI in September. The shot-stopper is joined by Hartford Athletic’s Modesto Mendez and FC Tulsa’s Jorge Corrales in the squad that will face Honduras in a home-and-home series on Thursday and Sunday night aiming to hold onto their top-two position.

In League B, Puerto Rico faces a crucial home-and-home series with Guyana that kicks off on Saturday and concludes on Tuesday with four players representing USL clubs set to suit up for El Hurucan Azul. Chattanooga Red Wolves SC’s Nicolas Cardona and North Carolina FC’s Jaden Servania are joined by League Two standouts Rodolfo Sulia of Fort Wayne FC and Devin Vega of the Des Moines Menace as they seek promotion to League A in the next edition of the tournament.

Elsewhere, recent El Paso Locomotive FC signing Petur Knudsen will rejoin the Faroe Islands as it faces games at home against Poland on Thursday evening before facing the Czech Republic on Sunday, while San Antonio FC defender Trova Boni will join Burkina Faso for a pair of exhibitions against Equitorial Guinea and Mauritania as the side prepares for the 2023 CAF Africa Cup of Nations next June.
