Long-range denials and sharp reflexes stood out in the past week of action, who gets your vote?

The penultimate week of the USL Championship’s regular season produced some outstanding stops from the league’s goalkeepers, including some that proved game-changing moments in the battle for a place in the playoffs and position in both conferences. Here are our selections as nominees for the USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week, now it’s up to you to vote for the winner here on the web, on the league social media feeds, and in the USL App.

Voting runs through Friday, October 13 at 12 p.m. ET.

USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 31

Paul Blanchette (OAK) - #OCvOAK, 10/4/23: The league’s saves leader came off his line to make a big one-on-one save to deny Orange County SC’s Kyle Scott, part of a five-save performance at Championship Soccer Stadium.

Danny Vitiello (SAC) - #RGVvSAC, 10/7/23: The current Golden Glove leader made an outstanding one-handed save to keep out a long-range blast by Rio Grande Valley FC’s Frank Lopez to the top-left corner of the net in Republic FC’s victory on the road.

Koke Vegas (SD) - #SDvOAK, 10/7/23: The Spaniard produced an exceptional fingertip denial to keep out a long-range strike from Oakland Roots SC’s Bryan Tamacas, turning the effort over the crossbar as it arrowed toward the top-left corner.

Colin Shutler (OC) - #OCvSA, 10/7/23: Shutler made up for his own initial error, making a reflex stop to keep out a powerful volley by San Antonio FC’s Nathan Fogaça after a key goal line clearance helped preserve victory for OCSC at Championship Soccer Stadium.
