Switchbacks sign goalkeeper Jason Dubrovich to 25-day contract

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC announced on Friday the club had signed goalkeeper Jason Dubrovich to a 25-day contract. Dubrovich will be available for selection in the Switchbacks’ contest on Saturday night against Sacramento Republic FC at Weidner Field.

Dubrovich joins the Switchbacks having recently graduated from the University of San Diego, where last fall he was voted the West Coast Conference’s Co-Goalkeeper of the Year. The 23-year-old recorded 62 saves and seven shutouts for Toreros in the 2022 campaign while posting a save percentage of 74.7 percent, and was also voted to the 2022 All-West Coast Conference First Team.

A native of Riverdale, N.J., Dubrovich joined the University of San Diego for his senior season having previously played two seasons at Central Connecticut State University after his freshman year at St. Peter’s University. At CCSU, Dubrovic recorded 37 appearances and made 167 saves, including a career-high 79 saves in 14 appearances during the 2019 season.
