DETROIT – Detroit City FC announced on Thursday the club had acquired forward Aaron Bibout on loan from the LA Galaxy II of MLS NEXT Pro for the remainder of the 2023 USL Championship season. Bibout will be available for selection when Le Rouge host Hartford Athletic on Saturday night at Keyworth Stadium.

A native of Cameroon, Bibout has netted 14 goals and five assists in 27 appearances for LA Galaxy II during the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro Regular Season. Additionally, the 19-year-old has made a pair of appearances for the LA Galaxy in Major League Soccer on a short-term loan agreement.

Bibout arrives at Le Rouge having tallied four goals in his last four matches for Los Dos dating back to August 27, and figures to provide an attacking threat for Detroit as it pursues a place in the 2023 USL Championship Playoffs next month.
