TAMPA, Fla. – The USL Championship announced on Saturday the regular season contest between Hartford Athletic and Rio Grande Valley FC had been postponed due to inclement weather, after lightning strikes throughout the night at Trinity Health Stadium caused the game to be suspended in the ninth minute.
Under league rules, the game – which was scoreless at the time of suspension – will be replayed from the opening kickoff. A date for the rescheduled contest will be announced in the coming days.
