COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC defender Duke Lacroix has been selected by Haiti for its upcoming games in the 2023/24 CONCACAF Nations League.
Lacroix could make his senior national team debut for the country, with Haiti set to face Cuba in Santo Domingo on Friday, September 8 at 4 p.m. ET. The side will also face Jamaica at Independence Park in Kingston, Jamaica on Tuesday, September 12 at 8 p.m. ET.
Lacroix will depart for national team duty today and is anticipated to be absent for the Switchbacks’ upcoming game against San Antonio FC on Saturday night. The 29-year-old could return for Colorado Springs’ contest against Orange County SC on Friday, September 15.
A new signing this past offseason, Lacroix has made 16 appearances for the Switchbacks this season, recording one goal and one assist.
