IRVINE, Calif. – Orange County SC announced on Tuesday the club had acquired forward Cameron Dunbar on loan from Minnesota United FC of Major League Soccer for the remainder of the 2023 season.
Dunbar will be available for selection in Orange County’s contest against Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC on Wednesday night (10 p.m. ET | ESPN+).
A 20-year-old native of Carson, Calif., Dunbar has made three appearances for Minnesota United this season after being acquired from the LA Galaxy prior to the 2023 campaign. He has also recorded five goals and one assist in nine appearances for MNUFC 2 in MLS NEXT Pro.
Prior to joining the Loons, Dunbar began his professional career with hometown club the Galaxy, where he made his debut in the USL Championship for the LA Galaxy II as a 16-year-old during the 2019 campaign. Overall, Dunbar made 48 appearances for Los Dos in the Championship’s regular season, recording 15 goals and six assists.
