INDIANAPOLIS – Indy Eleven announced on Monday the club had acquired defender Ben Reveno on loan from the New England Revolution of Major League Soccer. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed, and Reveno will be available for selection in Indy’s contest against Birmingham Legion FC on Wednesday night.

The loan to Indy marks a return to the USL Championship for Reveno, who previously spent time on loan with Legion FC this season. Reveno joined Birmingham on loan from the Revolution this past March and made 10 appearances, including five starts, over which time he won 6 of 7 tackles and made 10 clearances and blocked four shots while posting a 76.3 percent passing accuracy rate.

Reveno was drafted 52nd overall by New England in the 2022 MLS SuperDraft and played in six MLS regular season matches for the club, along with making one start in the side’s 2022 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open cup match against New York City FC. For the majority of the 2022 season, Reveno was a starter with New England’s MLS NEXT Pro team.

Collegiately, Reveno played two seasons at UC Irvine before transferring to UCLA for his final three seasons. He started 47 of 49 matches played, scoring one goal and registering six assists. In 2021, he helped the Bruins to the second round of the NCAA Tournament and was named second-team All-Far West Region by the United Soccer Coaches.
