There was no shortage of late-game drama in the USL Championship this past weekend with the directions of four games being turned in the final five minutes or stoppage time thanks to some outstanding finishes from some of the league’s sharpest marksmen. USL Championship Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week – Week 17

Marcus Epps (TUL) - #TULvDET, 6/30/23: A beautifully-played two-man move saw Epps find Phillip Goodrum in the penalty area and then make an incisive run to receive a back-heeled return pass for a low finish to the right corner for Tulsa’s late winner against Detroit City FC.

Eddie Munjoma (PHX) - #PHXvMEM, 7/1/23: The left back’s first goal for Rising FC made a big impression as he cut centrally and fired home a brilliant shot to the top-right corner that set Phoenix on its way to a remarkable victory on ESPN2.

JJ Williams (TBR) - #LVvTBR, 7/1/23: The veteran forward pulled out a piece of magic from his bag of tricks with a blistering finish from 25 yards to the top-right corner that sent the Rowdies to a 2-1 win against Lights FC at Cashman Field.

Taylor Davila (RGV) - #SACvRGV, 7/1/22: The 22-year-old curled home a superb right-footed finish from 20 yards into the top-right corner to grab the Toros a 1-1 draw against Western Conference leader Sacramento Republic FC in second-half stoppage time.
