TULSA, Okla. – FC Tulsa announced on Friday that center back Bradley Bourgeois had undergone successful surgery after sustaining an injury in training last week. The veteran defender is expected to miss three months of play as he begins the rehabilitation process immediately.

The Tulsa captain was hampered by a lower-body injury to begin the 2023 season, limiting Bourgeois to 11 appearances on the season. Bourgeois leads FC Tulsa in clearances (46), blocks (9), and ranks fourth in interceptions (13) during the current campaign.

A veteran of the USL Championship, Bourgeois is currently in the fourth season of his second stint with FC Tulsa, where he has made 81 regular season appearances and logged 7,038 minutes of action since the start of the 2020 season. The 29-year-old had also previously played for Rio Grande Valley FC and Nashville SC in the league and has made 155 regular season appearances in his career in the Championship overall.
