A big week of penalty saves showed the league’s goalkeepers at their best, who gets your vote?

Goalkeepers in the USL Championship were put on the spot during Week 15 of the regular season but remarkably rose to the challenge for some superb stops that in one case helped earn a result on the road. Here are the saves we’ve selected as nominees for the USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week, and it’s up to you to vote for the winner here on the web, on the league social media feeds, and in the USL App.

Voting runs through Friday, June 23 at 12 p.m. ET.

USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 15

Joe Rice (HFD) - #HFDvDET, 6/14/23: Rice made a tremendous diving stop to keep out Detroit City FC’s Maxi Rodriguez from the spot, going at full stretch to keep out a shot to the bottom-left corner of the net at Trinity Health Stadium.

Leo Diaz (LV) - #ELPvLV, 6/14/23: The Argentine made his third penalty save of the season with a strong stop to his right to deny El Paso Locomotive FC leading scorer Luis Solignac as the sides clashed at Southwest University Park.

Jordan Farr (SA) - #SDvSA, 6/14/23: The reigning Goalkeeper of the Year made a spectacular one-handed save to keep out a late curling effort by San Diego Loyal SC’s Nick Moon to the top-right corner, earning SAFC a point on the road at Torero Stadium.

Oliver Semmle (LOU) - #PHXvLOU, 6/17/23: The German shot-stopper helped ensure his side earned a draw on the road in Phoenix as he denied Rising FC’s Danny Trejo from the spot with 11 minutes to go at Phoenix Rising Stadium.
