Sharp reflexes and quick-thinking moves stood out among this week’s stops, who gets your vote?

The past week in the USL Championship produced another collection of impressive goalkeeping displays, including some breathtaking saves that were part of bigger-picture successes for their clubs. Here are the stops we’ve selected as nominees for the USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week, and it’s up to you to vote for the winner here on the web, on the league social media feeds, and in the USL App.

Voting runs through Friday, June 9 at 12 p.m. ET.

USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 13

Michael Nelson (TUL) - #MBvTUL, 5/31/23: The Texas native earned his second consecutive nomination with a tremendous point-blank save to deny Monterey Bay F.C.’s Christian Volesky, part of a five-save shutout at Cardinale Stadium.

Paul Blanchette (OAK) - #COSvOAK, 6/2/23: The current Championship saves leader posted his sixth shutout of the season in a display that included this reaction stop to keep out a clever redirection from El Salvador international Jairo Henriquez for the Switchbacks.

Oliver Semmle (LOU) - #HFDvLOU, 6/3/23: The German shot-stopper made a great initial save to keep out a close-range chance for Hartford Athletic’s Antoine Hoppenot and then had the presence of mind to punch away a potential rebound chance for his defense to clear.

Jahmali Waite - #PITvPHX, 6/3/23: The Jamaican international made an outstanding one-handed save at full stretch to keep out a curling shot to the top-right corner by Phoenix Rising FC’s Eddie Munjoma, part of a three-save shutout at Highmark Stadium.
