Outside of the boot brilliance or precision finishing from distance, which gets your vote?

Individual marksmanship was the theme of the weekend in the USL Championship with a pair of exceptional finishes with the outside of the boot and two precise long-range blasts making up this week’s field for the USL Championship Fan’ Choice Goal of the Week competition. As a reminder, this season you can vote across multiple platforms to earn your favorite finish the weekly award, including through the official USL App.

Voting runs through Thursday, June 1 at 12 p.m. ET.

USL Championship Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week – Week 12

Russell Cicerone (SAC) - #HFDvSAC, 5/26/23: The Championship’s current co-leading goalscorer produced a brilliant strike for his 50th regular season goal in the league, picking out the bottom-left corner from 25 yards.

Maxi Rodriguez (DET) - #DETvBHM, 5/27/23: Le Rouge’s midfield dynamo produced a brilliant piece of individual skill to glide past his defender on the right before shooting with the outside of his right foot in off the left post at Keyworth Stadium.

Rida Zouhir (SA) - #SAvNM, 5/27/23: The 19-year-old bagged his first professional goal with a precise finish from the top of the penalty area that found its way through the defense and into the bottom-right corner at Toyota Field.

Jairo Henriquez (COS) - #TBRvCOS, 5/27/22: The El Salvador international scored a tremendous late goal as the Switchbacks visited Tampa Bay, curling a first-time strike with the outside of his right boot into the top-left corner of the net at Al Lang Stadium.
