The USL Championship weekend kicks off on Friday night in Oklahoma as FC Tulsa plays host to a Memphis 901 FC side that enters on a club-record undefeated streak that has pushed its back above the playoff line in the Eastern Conference.

Here's a look ahead at the action.

FC Tulsa vs. Memphis 901 FC

Venue: ONEOK Field
Kickoff: 9 p.m. ET
Broadcast: ESPN+
538.com Predictor: TUL 33%, MEM 41%, Draw 26%

The Lowdown: FC Tulsa will try to return to the win column and end a tough run of form against visiting Memphis 901 FC as the sides meet for the first time this season. FC Tulsa (1-3-6, 9pts) is on a seven-game winless streak having played to a draw in three consecutive outings as it returns to ONEOK Field for the first time this month. The hosts played to a 1-1 draw last Saturday night against Las Vegas Lights FC as Eric Bird scored his first goal of the season before Las Vegas hit back at Cashman Field, keeping Tulsa in 10th place in the Eastern Conference standings. Memphis (3-2-3, 12pts) is on a six-game undefeated streak, meanwhile, after a 2-1 victory against Colorado Springs Switchbacks FC last Saturday that saw Luiz Fernando score a late winner at AutoZone Park despite the side having been reduced to 10 players in the first half. The six-game run is the longest regular-season undefeated streak in 901 FC history, and the side has also claimed victory in four consecutive games against FC Tulsa after a 3-0 victory when the teams met at ONEOK Field a season ago. Memphis will be without Bruno Lapa as he serves a one-game suspension for his red card against Colorado Springs, but the visitors will be hoping to continue their surge as a win would move the side into the top four in the Eastern Conference before Saturday night’s action.

Spotlight Players
FC Tulsa – Adam Armour:
The former U.S. youth international could see more action after coming on as a substitute for his debut for Tulsa in Las Vegas, with the 20-year-old a solid option on the left side of the field.

Memphis 901 FC – Luiz Fernando: The Brazilian earned Player of the Week honors for his role in 901 FC’s win against the Switchbacks and has recorded a goal or assist in each of the past five games for Memphis going back to a goal on April 15 against Las Vegas.
