SACRAMENTO, Calif. — After first releasing the Legacy Kit that celebrates the club’s past through iconography, Republic FC unveiled today a second hummel jersey as part of this year’s on-field line up – The Resilient Kit.

With a refreshed design of the club’s first white jersey that has evolved throughout its history, the new kit features an updated, resilient red sash symbolic of the path the club has traveled, and where it plans to go in the next decade. The kit is now available for sale at Shop.SacRepublicFC.com and will debut on the field on Wednesday night when the club takes on Orange County SC at Championship Soccer Stadium.

 “We are thrilled to add another hummel kit to our collection,” Republic FC Executive Vice President of Business Operations, Ashley Horsley. “While the Legacy Kit told the story of our club’s rich history, the new Resilient Kit is a step into our future – as a club and as a community – while still lifting up the integral parts of who we are.”

Like the Legacy Kit unveiled earlier this year, the Resilient Kit incorporates silver and metallic tones to represent tin, the traditional gift for 10-year anniversaries. On the back, the commemorative logo unveiled for the anniversary season makes another appearance, once again featuring Resilient Red and Old Glory Red – together in unison.

UC Davis Health continues to serve as the official kit sponsor, featuring on the front of every Republic FC jersey since 2014. On the sleeve, a 988 patch presented by Western Health Advantage and Wellspace Health continues to create awareness for the National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. The patch is purposefully placed to help socialize conversations about suicide and mental health concerns and crisis and remind anyone who sees the patch that there are resources for those in need – for people in distress or their loved ones looking for help.
