SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio FC announced on Tuesday the club had signed Ayodeji Adeniran to a 25-day contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Adeniran joins his brother Samuel in San Antonio. This will mark the first time the brothers have been on a professional team together.

Adeniran joins SAFC after spending last season with Kicker Emden in Germany’s fourth division, Regionalliga Nord. With Emden, Adeniran appeared in 21 matches – all starts. In 1,875 minutes, the Houston native scored twice and assisted three times.

Prior to turning pro, Adeniran played collegiately with Alabama A&M before transferring to UAB. In his junior season with the Blazers, Adeniran appeared in every match. As a sophomore, the Houston native scored twice and tallied five assists.
