Individual creativity came to the fore in the USL Championship as the second quarter of the season began in Week 9, delivering beautiful free kick finishes as well as impressive strikes that have earned their place in week’s USL Championship Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week. As a reminder, this season you can vote across multiple platforms to earn your favorite finish the weekly award, including through the official USL App.

Voting runs through Thursday, May 11 at 12 p.m. ET.

USL Championship Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week – Week 9

Christian Sorto (MIA) – #MIAvBHM, 5/3/23: The El Salvador national team winger got Miami out to a brilliant start against Birmingham Legion FC with a free kick that picked out the top-right corner in just the second minute.

Abdoulaye Diop (DET) - #DETvTUL, 5/6/23: The Senegalese midfielder broke Le Rouge’s lengthy scoreless streak with a superb strike from 30 yards that picked out the bottom-right corner at Keyworth Stadium.

Charlie Dennis (TBR) - #TBRvPHX, 5/6/23: The English midfielder highlighted a strong all-around display with a brilliantly converted free kick that picked out the top-left corner of the net to leave the goalkeeper flat-footed at Al Lang Stadium.

Tani Oluwaseyi (SA) - #LVvSA, 5/7/23: Oluwaseyi made a grand introduction to San Antonio’s fans with a rasping shot from just inside the penalty area on his debut moment after coming on as a substitute to provide the visitors with a game-winner at Cashman Field.
