USL Championship Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week – Week 8

Individual strikes and brilliant pieces of teamwork feature this week, which gets your vote?

A pair of beautifully created team finishes and two other superb individual efforts highlighted the past weekend of action as we wrapped up the first quarter of the 2023 regular season, and have earned nomination for week’s USL Championship Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week. As a reminder, this season you can vote across multiple platforms to earn your favorite finish the weekly award, including through the official USL App.

Voting runs through Thursday, May 4 at 12 p.m. ET.

USL Championship Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week – Week 8

Cristian Parano (SA) – #SAvLV, 4/29/23: The Argentine playmaker produced an incredible free kick that dipped over the defensive wall and just inside the right post to pull SAFC level in the first half at Toyota Field.

Jose Hernandez (PHX) - #PHXvLDN, 4/29/23: Fede Varela and Manuel Arteaga combined beautifully to set up Hernandez’s first goal for his hometown club with an angled cross and header across goal that put the hosts ahead at home.

Tumi Moshobane (SD) - #SDvELP, 4/29/23: The South African shifted cleverly past a pair of defenders, feinting to shoot at the top of the penalty area both times, before delivering a precise finish to the bottom-right corner of the net at Torero Stadium.

Denys Kostyshyn (ELP) - #SDvELP, 4/29/22: The Ukrainian capped off a tremendous team move from its own half that saw Kosyshyn combine with Eric Calvillo and Luis Solignac before putting home the game-winner for the visitors in San Diego.
