Crucial stops early and late and a pair of top close-range denials stood out this week, who gets your vote?

The reflexes of the goalkeepers in the USL Championship were on full show this past weekend during Week 7 of the regular season, including a crucial save to ensure a road victory and other impressive stops. We’ve picked out four superb denials as nominees for the USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week. Now it’s up to you to vote for the winner here on the web, on the league social media feeds, and in the USL App.

USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 7

Rocco Rios Novo (PHX) - #SAvPHX, 4/22/23: The Argentine produced a standout eight-save performance at Toyota Field including this key early stop one-on-one with SAFC’s Ignacio Bailone to keep the game scoreless.

Trevor Spangenberg (BHM) - #OCvBHM, 4/22/23: Spangenberg preserved all three points for Legion FC on the road with a superb stoppage-time save to keep out a first-time shot by Andrew Fox to the left corner at Championship Soccer Stadium.

Andre Zuluaga-Silva (LV) - #MIAvLV, 4/23/23: The Miami native had a busy afternoon for Lights FC in his hometown with a double-save midway through the second half the best of a five-save performance at Riccardo Silva Stadium.

Paul Blanchette (OAK) - #LDNvOAK, 4/23/23: The veteran shot-stopper shifted quickly across his goalmouth to make a kick save on Loudoun’s Tommy Williamson after a low cross through the six-yard area at Segra Field.
