Crucial stops early and late showed Championship goalkeepers at their best, who gets your vote?

The past week of action in the USL Championship gave us some crucial saves that arrived both early and late in contests, with each guiding the direction of the final result in the process. We’ve picked out four top stops as nominees for the USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week. Now it’s up to you to vote for the winner here on the web, on the league social media feeds, and in the USL App.

Voting runs through Friday, April 21 at 12 p.m. ET.

USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 6

Oliver Semmle (LOU) - #LOUvSA, 4/15/23: The German shot-stopper made a crucial low stop early in the 2022 Championship Final rematch to keep out San Antonio FC’s Zico Bailey on the way to a second consecutive league shutout.

Bill Hamid (MEM) - #MEMvLV, 4/15/23: The former United States goalkeeper produced an excellent one-handed stop to keep out a close-range chance for Las Vegas Lights FC’s Azriel Gonzalez in the first half at AutoZone Park.

Leonardo Diaz (LV) - #MEMvLV, 4/15/23: The Argentine helped keep Lights FC on level terms with a fine diving save to his left to deny Memphis 901 FC’s Aaron Molloy from the penalty spot late in the first half.

Rocco Rios Novo (PHX) - #PHXvMB, 4/15/23: The 20-year-old standout saved a point for Rising FC with a brilliant one-handed denial to keep out a close-range header from Monterey Bay F.C.’s Christian Volesky in second-half stoppage time of a 1-1 draw.
