Audacious finishes and assists highlight this week’s selection, which gets your vote?

Quality passing and creativity produced some goals to remember in Week 5 of the regular season, and that standout out in the finishes that make up this week’s candidates for the USL Championship Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week. As a reminder, this season you can vote across multiple platforms to earn your favorite finish the weekly award, including through the official USL App.

Voting runs through Thursday, April 13 at 12 p.m. ET.

USL Championship Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week – Week 5

Edgardo Rito (OAK) – #INDvOAK, 4/8/23: The Venezualan standout put the capper on Roots SC’s victory against Indy Eleven as he broke onto Joseph Nane’s lifted pass and calmly lobbed the goalkeeper from 30 yards out at Michael A. Carroll Stadium.

Augustine Williams (CHS) - #CHSvHFD, 4/8/23: The Sierra Leone international scored in his third consecutive game across all competitions with a precise finish to the bottom-right corner off Fidel Barajas’ assist.

Romario Williams (COS) - #COSvPIT, 4/8/23: The Jamaican international bagged his second game-winning goal in as many outings after a beautiful piece of build-up play from Jairo Henriquez, Maalique Foster and Patrick Seagrist at Weidner Field.

Christian Volesky (MB) - #MBvNM, 4/8/22: The veteran forward’s second goal of the game came via a brilliant piece of inventiveness by teammate Sam Gleadle, whose backheeled pass between two defenders gave Volesky an empty net to finish into.
