USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 4

Impressive reaction stops came to the fore in the past week of the season, which gets your vote?

One of the big new names in the USL Championship’s Goalkeeping Union made an immediate impact for his new club, with Bill Hamid being joined by three others who made spectacular saves during Week 4 of the regular season to earn nomination for the USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week. Now it’s up to you to vote for the winner here on the web, on the league social media feeds, and in the USL App.

Voting runs through Friday, April 7 at 12 p.m. ET.

USL Championship Fans’ Choice Save of the Week – Week 4

Jahmali Waite - #TULvPIT, 3/28/23: The Jamaican international produced a shutout display on the road for the Hounds including an acrobatic save in first-half stoppage time to deny FC Tulsa’s Dario Suarez at ONEOK Field.

Christian Herrera (COS) - #LDNvCOS, 4/1/23: Herrera posted a seven-save shutout for the Switchbacks to earn Team of the Week honors, including this spectacular one-handed save to keep out a header by Loudoun United FC’s Kalil ElMedkhar.

Bill Hamid (MEM) - #MIAvMEM, 4/1/23: The former United States international made a stellar start with 901 FC as he made a reflex save on Miami FC defender Callum Chapman-Page’s close-range finish at Riccardo Silva Stadium.

Rocco Rios Novo (PHX) - #PHXvSD, 4/1/23: The Argentine shot-stopper made a brilliant reaction save to tip over a glancing header off a near-post corner kick by San Diego Loyal SC’s Alejandro Guido, one of three saves he made on the night.
