A quartet of exceptional strikes lit up the opening weekend of the campaign, which gets your vote?

The opening weekend of the 2023 USL Championship season produced not only a high quantity of goals across the league, but some exceptional strikes that lit up the league’s social media channels. We’ve picked out four of the best, and this year you can vote across multiple platforms to earn your favorite finish the honor of the USL Championship’s Goal of the Week, including through the official USL App.

Voting runs through Thursday, March 16 at 12 p.m. ET.

USL Championship Fans’ Choice Goal of the Week – Week 1

Lamar Batista (SA) – #SAvOAK, 3/11/23: The center back produced a brilliant piece of technique on a bicycle kick directly off a corner kick in first-half stoppage time to cement San Antonio’s lead at Toyota Field.

Florian Valot (MIA) - #MIAvTUL, 3/11/23: The French playmaker took one touch to control and then unleashed a ferocious shot from more than 30 yards out into the top-left corner of the net at Riccardo Silva Stadium.

Tommy Williamson (LDN) - #MEMvLDN, 3/11/23: The visitors at AutoZone Park combined for a beautiful piece of interplay as Zach Ryan’s flicked pass set up Williamson for a low finish for the first goal of the 2023 campaign.

Ricky Ruiz (RGV) - #RGVvLV, 3/12/23: The Toros winger capped the week off with a superb solo effort as he cut in from the right onto his left foot at the top corner of the penalty area and curled his shot into the top-left corner of the net at H-E-B Park.
