MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis 901 FC announced on Tuesday the club had signed forward Rashawn Dally for the 2023 USL Championship season. The transaction is pending league and federation approval.

Dally returns as a familiar face to fans in the Bluff City after two previous stints with 901 FC during the 2019 and 2021 seasons. The forward was selected 49th overall in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft by FC Cincinnati before being loaned to Memphis that season. He has made 35 appearances for the club across his two prior stints, recording one goal and 16 chances created.

“This is an organization that has been on an uphill trajectory since its inaugural season,” said Dally. “I am excited and grateful to reintegrate with the club for the 2023 season, see the fans, and compete to bring a championship to Memphis!”

A native of Bloomfield, Conn., Dally competed last season for fellow USL Championship club Hartford Athletic where he had a career-best eight goals contributions during the season, notching three goals and five assists in 29 appearances.

Dally also previously competed for Las Vegas Lights FC during the abbreviated 2020 campaign on loan from FC Cincinnati. In his career, he has recorded seven goals and seven assists in 78 appearances across the regular season and playoffs.

Memphis 901 FC kicks off its 2023 season this Saturday afternoon as it plays host to Loudoun United at AutoZone Park with kickoff set for 4 p.m. CT.
