INDIANAPOLIS – Indy Eleven announced on Wednesday the club had acquired midfielder Harrison Robledo on loan from Major League Soccer club FC Cincinnati for the duration of the 2023 USL Championship season. The transaction is pending league and federation approval.

Robledo spent his first professional season with FC Cincinnati in 2022, when he made two substitute appearances and logged 44 minutes in the top flight. The 21-year-old also made a pair of appearances in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup matches and started in a League Cup contest against Chivas de Guadalajara in September.

A native of Queens, N.Y., joined the FC Cincinnati Academy in 2020 after spending four years with the New York City FC Academy. While in the NYCFC youth system, he won the 2016 GA Cup with their U-16 team and played on the 2018 U-18/U19 Development National Championship team.

After signing as a Homegrown Player ahead of the 2022 season, Robledo spent most of his rookie campaign on loan in MLS NEXT Pro with FC Cincinnati 2, where he notched one goal and one assist while logging more than 1,400 minutes in 17 appearances. Robledo led FCC 2 with 31 tackles and 22 key passes, showing off his bona fides on both sides of the ball from different roles in central midfield.
