Billhardt joins Le Rouge having this past season helped South Georgia Tormenta FC claim the USL League One title. The 25-year-old made 30 appearances for the side, notching five goals and five assists across 2,031 minutes of action. Returning from a torn ACL suffered during the 2021 season, Billhardt was the recipient of the inaugural League One Comeback Player of the Year award presented by Shift4 in November.

In addition to his college career, Billhardt competed for South Georgia Tormenta FC 2 during the 2019 USL League Two season before joining the professional ranks with Tormenta FC in League One two years later.
