2022 Championship Goalkeeper of the Year equaled league’s regular season record with 15 shutouts in campaign

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio FC announced on Friday the club had signed goalkeeper Jordan Farr to a multi-year contract extension after a standout 2022 USL Championship campaign. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed, and the transaction is pending league and federation approval.

“We are thrilled to continue our relationship with Jordan here at SAFC,” said San Antonio Head Coach Alen Marcina. “He's grown exponentially over the season, which led to a career-best season with earned and deserving awards and recognitions. Jordan, viewed as one of the leaders on the team, is a part of a strong core of returnees from our Championship winning season.”

Farr was voted the USL Championship Goalkeeper of the Year as he delivered a career-best season in his first year in the Alamo City. The Oregon native equaled the league’s regular season record with 15 shutouts and added a pair more in the postseason as San Antonio claimed its first league title.
