After receiving, reviewing, and hearing an appeal from the Tampa Bay Rowdies and Laurence Wyke, the Independent Disciplinary Panel has overturned the suspension that the USL Championship issued on Oct. 10. The IDP determined that the evidence presented was insufficient to uphold the decision. 

Wyke is now available for selection by the Tampa Bay Rowdies, who play New York Red Bulls II on Saturday.

In accordance with the CBA, the Independent Disciplinary Panel is comprised of three individuals not affiliated with the League or the USLPA: A former professional coach, a former professional referee, and a former professional player. Any decision to overturn the League’s ruling must be unanimous.
